The brick on a 1920s Dilworth or Salisbury chimney is often harder than the lime mortar holding it, and decades of humidity leave the joints sandy and the faces spalled where water has sat. Our masons cut the failed joints back to solid material, repoint with a mortar mixed to the strength and color of the original, and replace individual bricks that have lost their face. Sections above the roofline that have leaned or separated are taken down and rebuilt on a fresh bed.
